I don't have friends using ATT so I can't pass on any experiences. I do, however, have a lot of friends using Cingular. I can rarely place a call through to my friends during weekend with the first or second try. I also have friends in SD, he often got that funny display on his cell phone "SOS call only", and he can't make call when that sign was up. And I can't call him either when that happened even though we were sitting right next to each other.
