I'm thinking of buying a new car soon. Right now the three models I thinking about the most are. Acura RSX Type S edmunds.com Just test drove this yesterday. Good performance. Best shifting and clutch of any stick shift I have ever driven. It seem to be slightly more refined then my other two choices. (Its a six speed manual) Subaru Impreza WRX edmunds.com 227HP engine. Probably can beat the Mustang and definitly can beat the Acura in 0 to 60. I haven't driven it yet, I'll proably take a test drive later this week. For Mustang GT edmunds.com Most primitive of the bunch but good low end torque from the 4.6 V8. Also I know a sales manager at a Ford dealorship so I could probably get a good deal. I've also thought about the Nissan Altima, Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS, Toyota MR-2 and Celica GT-S, and Honda S-2000, but the Honda is too expensive. If I had kids I might get the Altima but I probably wont get it. I tried to test drive an MR-2 but they didn't have any at the dealer, also a small roadster may be less practical. I test drove an Elcipse GT but while it was ok it was not as good as the Acura. Tim
