Don't you get it Doug? that we, by the way no longer want to read... [end.]

"The above long-gone seems to speak for the thread quite often even thought {sic} many have asked him to stop posting huge quantities of off topic full text of many pages of article rather than a simple introduction and url."

No, it's just the he still reads your lame propaganda. I can handle three long-gones compared to your myopic viewpoint.

Doug, you have become the pot calling the kettle black
Your posts consist of the following:

1. GATA "News" Stories, which is "e) Using the Service for the transmission of junk mail, spam, chain letters, or unsolicited mass distribution of e-mail. "

2. Recent Lemetropole cafe ads, which is "f) Using the Service for the transmission of advertising or promotion of any product or service.

3. Borrow other people's posts and articles, which is "c) Posting or transmitting third party copyrighted information or in any way infringing on the intellectual property rights, contractual or fiduciary rights of others"

4. Criticizing anyone who dares question anything, which is "a) Using the Service for illegal purposes or for the transmission of material that is unlawful, harassing, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, tortuous or otherwise objectionable"

> their dislike of GATA and Bill Murphy is quite wrong.

GATA has been lobbying for full disclosure in the gold markets, a goal I completely agree with. They are, however, a federal tax-exempt organization and I would love to see a copy of their filings - full disclosure. If disclosure is good enough for the gold industry then it is good for GATA. Please make your next GATA post a copy of their source and use of funds documents.

I know you did not mean it to be read "Bill Murphy is quite wrong" but that's the history. He took Frank Veneroso studies, jumped to a conclusion that short gold positions would lead to higher gold prices in 1998, then promoted lemetropole ($99) on SI. His wildly bullish predictions when gold was at $350 got himself and maybe many others into the gold markets at the wrong time.

If "GATA Bill" wishes to take credit for exposing evil and helping gold go from $250-to-300, then "LeMetroPole Bill" ought to take blame for taking subscribers on the ride from $350-to-$250. They only have gotten half their loss back so far.

<<These two persons both have
what seems to be a personal problem with GATA and the Chairman
of GATA, Bill Murphy, such that my support of GATA and Bill Murphy
causes them constipation problems they direct at me as personal attacks.>>

Hardly, this is a direct lie. As I've said in the past, I support GATA, like Bull, and agree with the greatest part of the message. I even credit GATA with a portion of the gold rally, though not great as you seem credit them with. I just don't think anyone's sole posts should be from a single pair of sources.

Did you even read that which I posted about Freddie Mac playing in the gold market??

Just come up with original thought please. Contribute thoughts & research to GATA, don't only take from them.

Of my being "Off Topic", Do you have any idea all those factors which govern gold price? Yes, War has an impact - like it or not. Gold is, perhaps, the single most political investment of all time. Every other commodity impacts or is impacted by gold price. Get over it & get over yourself.

Doug so far as I'm concerned you are an integral part of GMP - so don't let anyone hound you away.
