I wonder what 64-bit applications will be shown? Some performance apps benefiting from operating in 64-bit long mode would be nice.

Andreas, I didn't see a date for the new Windows availability, or even if it will be the current generation of Windows (XP or .NET). Was it an oversight, or does this suggest a late 2003 launch, when Microsoft is ready with the generation of Windows after XP and .NET?
