Searle, I actually agree with much of that article. I don't believe Powell "disgraced himself," however. The Golan Heights illegally occupied? Solid arguments in favor of that supposition--seems a good portion of that land was seized by force after a ceasefire was signed. But who were the lame idiots who attacked Israel to begin with? If they hadn't attacked, Israel would be that much smaller. Three separate attacks over a span of 25 and the country grows in size each time--Israel feeds on being attacked. As Jesus points out, if you are not sure your army can triumph over the next guy's, send a peace delegation.
