You and Kerry are basically telling the American people the same thing: "Go buy your fucking oil from Saddam and leave my pet issue alone."

You and Kerry are showing the same contempt for the American people as when the traitor, Kerry, came home from Nam and accused the US of being criminal for trying to save that benighted nation from communism.

Sooner or later, the American people speak back to those who are contemptuous of them. That era has begun, much to the traitor, Kerry's, distress...

Then, of course, your buddy Saddam takes the money and finances terrorism world-wide. When we bring Saddam down, you and the traitor, Kerry, will have to find a new friend...

AS,

The oil situation is not a zero sum condition. We need, and and can do simultanously, get more supply (ANWR), get more efficient, and get more diversified in the types of energy(non-fossil fuels).

I too want, very much, to tell the Saudi terrorists what to do with their oil.

Here's something to think about. The Japanese are 100% dependant on ME oil. If alternative energy were so easy they'd have already solved the problem.

AS, you're spouting off a whole lot of stuff based more on political agenda than facts, IMO.
We are stuck with the need for oil for a long time. In case you didn't know, it's used for a lot more than just making automobiles move. As for 40 years projected oil left. I think they said that back in the 1930's too. With new technologies, a lot more oil is recoverable now than it used to be. Old oil wells would only get about 20% of the oil under the ground, with 80% being left there. Now, that there are secondary and tertiary recovery methods, a lot more can be produced.
Also, as for drilling EVERY wilderness area, that's one of the stupidest things I've heard. Without geological evidence of oil and/or gas deposits, there is no point in drilling anywhere.
I don't see where exactly you give us an alternative to fossil fuels. What alternatives are there that are economically viable without a bunch of taxpayer money(that's my money) being wasted?
