PT: It is a little tightly placed between the Barton MP and a 2P Sledge system. It will be interesting to see whether the performance difference between 2P Claw and 2P Sledge. I assume the cost of the former will be considerably lower and probably provide most of the benefits sought by enthusiasts while allowing for a clear price distinction with both a 1P Claw and a nP Sledge.

I disagree.

With only half the memory bandwidth, Clawhammer is going to be severely handicapped in a significant number of real applications of interest to "enthusiasts".

IMHO, AMD is making a huge mistake in limiting the bandwidth of Clawhammer.
