Want the answer to the energy problem? Get off oil 50% in 10 years

In your dreams. The only "energy" problem we have is with the "environmental" movement.

Ahh... it's so easy to claim the answer to oil reliance is hydrogen...

However, when one thinks about the lack of existing infrastructure for producing large quantities of the fuel, storing it safely, and distributing it, let alone the large quantities of electricity required for hydrolysis, we find it's not quite as convenient as people like yourself try to make it sound.

Personally, I'm all for replacing fossil fuels with hydrogen.. But I believe that we need to expand our nuclear power infrastructure so that it can be harnessed to produce the trillions of cubic metric feet of the gas that will be required...

But I am interested in what BMW is doing with multi-fuel engines. It provides a means of transitioning from one fuel to another until the infrastructure for hydrogen is more ubiquitous.

And btw, don't try and argue that solar power is the answer (or windmills).. They are neither cheap, nor capable of providing sufficient quantities of reliable power necessary for refining.
