Thirty years ago they said we would be out of oil by now. After thirty years of ever-increasing pumping, we have greater reserves now than we did then. The latest news is that some fields in the Gulf of Mexico seem to be refilling themselves naturally! So much for the estimates.

As Sheikh Yamani says, "The Stone Age did not end for want of stones, and the Oil Age will not end for want of oil."
