Do we burn clean or dirty? Look at the virtuous circle again. "Work" creates "entropy" Burn oil or coal and you get "pollution". Furthermore, You won't use "cheap oil" to make Hydrogen, it does not make economic sense. The "Environmentalists" won't let you use Nuclear, they live in a "fairyland" where we produce Hydrogen from Solar electricity. And realize that the real push for all of this comes from people who, deep down, don't want us to use any kind of energy. They really don't want Civilization as we know it.
