It's my guess that this is only temporary, and that what is going on is that Micron is going to bankrupt Hynix by dropping the price of DRAM, or possibly that DRAM resellers are dumping DRAM under the expectation that Micron is going to bankrupt Hynix. I'm quite surprised by this. I thought most of the activity in DRAM was pretty much over and that RDRAM would maintain around a 50% price premium to DDR. But I still expect that this will eventually obtain.
