Dale, the new high list is where I harvest new candidates as well. Actually, one principle I have been using is to harvest that list (from the Naz and NYSE) only when the new high list gets under about 60, it is a "purifying crucible". then some of these go on my watch lists and I try and capture a major retracement. Not always good (paid the piper on PII, trying to get in under $53, and missed good moves and still waiting for retrenchments on the like of TTC and ECL for instance), but I hate holding the "bag" buying the new high and then finding out, it is "the last new high" (g).
