Why do you say that? I spent some time studying various religion [minor in philosophy] and concluded that if you sweep away the specific rituals if all boils down to "Play nice with your family and neighbors and if you don't you can burn in hell." Actually, I think the hell part was added by someone whose wife was screwed by the neighbor. I find it difficult to believe that a god would want worship from inferior whiney human beings. What's the point? God is omnipotent and knows it. So, God looks down after 140,000 years or so of human evolution and he finds humanity killing each other and claiming that it was their god that they're doing it in the name of. The omnipotent dude has given us 140,000 years to figure it out, i.e., how to play nice. As Jack Nicholson said [Witches of Eastwick]...."Maybe...it was a mistake". jttmab
