Many young people, gay and straight, indulge in high-risk sexual behaviour. They risk their own lives every time they do this. They don't risk mine, or yours. How does this infringe upon our rights?

I am not one of those who thinks that the Government needs to protect people from themselves.

Cigarette smoking is a somewhat different issue in my opinion: I am asthmatic and I take a fairly dim view of second hand smoke in enclosed places. Since breathing is required for life and the right to life is constitutionally guaranteed, I hold that my right to breathe supercedes the smoker's right to smoke.
