Given the amount of money to be made long or short, I see two possible scenarios here:

1. it is not only possible, but quite likely that brokers have hired an oil field scout or two to get advance information on results.

2. there is a financing in the works and the stock price will rebound shortly.

I agree - all the participants got wacked today - big time. Work is probably being leaked out - exactly how bad - I don't know. I suspect that there is either a large sour gas situation or a water problem. We should all know within a few days.
