Jeez, how can you complain about a chip with the minor drawback that a mulit-pass data optimizing compiler must used if you want to get decent performance.

I know that I'm looking forward to re-compiling Word every time I want to edit a document....

And re-compiling Oracle any time a new table is added to the database (or more than a few entries to an existing table)....

Just re-compile Photoshop for each image you want to edit, is that asking so much?
