Uh, check back on the history of your church. The inquisition and witchcraft for example. Confessing to them would save you from being burned alive, but not from death. Interesting that if your a priest, absolution seemingly can save you from any punishment currently.

These boys better get their heads out of the sand. They could be looking at another Reformation.
