I'm by nature an optimistic person, what can I say, its a personal failing. -g-

I have the same personality trait...but IMO a "good thing" (to quote Martha Stewart) when dealing with "life" in general! The Groundhog board usually gets to see my irrational exuberance when picking the Naswag. <g>

In the big picture, I am actually bullish. I really think that there are some wonderful things coming. I just think that things got way out of control and that we have to work off the excesses before we can enjoy the new age of bullishness. Many of the techs are still not adopting sound business practices. Profitability seems to be a "we'll cross that bridge when we get there" type of thing.

I'm in sales of networking infrastructure gear, you would have to assume that I have belief that we come out of this funk before too long, otherwise I would find something else to do. And I truly believe that there are sound business reasons to adopt many of the innovations of the past couple of years. And part of my pitch is always making a business case for buying.
