Sarmad: There is a lot of truth in what you say -- i2 is a big ticket expenditure and that in itself is a problem. As to whether it is outdated there is some truth to that, but there are some aspects of integration into product development that are highly relevant to complex products and global production -- so it may be more a matter of whether or not it is attractive to a company with a complex product and a supply chain amenable to the software and an ability to pay for it. I think i2 makes sense -- but then I am not their market.
