Why is it that Q is at 30.5 today and showing .15 down when it closed at 29 and change yesterday?

The point is that it would take a massive conspiracy by tens of thousands of those individuals to keep Dell puters out of Europe. For cell phone technology, the decision is probably made by fewer than a dozen influential folks.

it is amazing after all these years that QCOM fans have never tried to look at this issue from the other side's perspective.

Pick any perspective you like. The bottom line is that they will not avoid the royalties, but the delays and the problems with WCDMA will cost them billions.
