"Hopefully history has given us a lesson about the politics of hatred..." I don't know about that, the Democrats use the politics of hatred time after time and it helps them. LS: The Democrats use the Social Security weapon... The Republicans use the Strong Military weapon... While both play on individual fears it doesn't go as far has Hitler's Final Solution weapon... Almost any Democratic or Republican political ad these days takes the low road with emphasizing the negatives of their opponent rather than discussing the real issues... I guess it says something about a carryover of aggressive tendencies from prehistoric times that can be reached through a careful combination of words that aim right for these emotions... Jim
