Thanks for posting that, Nadine. It helped me make up my mind about Hersh. He obviously doesn't know what he's talking about, and I doubt he has the good sense to come in out of the rain.

The substance of Lindh's confession is contained in this public affidavit:
news.findlaw.com

There is nothing unethical about a prosecutor publicly commenting on matters of record prior to trial.

Moussaoui talking in court has nothing to do with what he would say in private -- several people just got indicted for carrying messages for Al Qaeda defendants -- including his lawyer. I don't like it, but sometimes a balance has to be struck in the public interest. No constitutional right is without limit.

One more bloviating pundit strikes the dust.

"He flew. He was interested in crop dusting, as most professional young pilots are, because crop dusting is the way, once you get a license, you can keep on flying for free. It's sort of a great first job. It's very common. They advertise crop dusting all over."

Get real.

Seymour Hersch

A man who speaks his mind. Nothing wrong with that.

Actually Hersch reminds me of Woody Allen. Allen denied he was a hypocondriac but he did admit to being an "alarmist", who thinks cancer when he gets a hangnail......
