Does it matter? ThoroghbredS is going to be thoroughly non-competitive vs a Prescott CPU, so the die size "advantage" does no good. The K6-2 had a small die size, too, but it didn't sell very well, given that it was less competitive than the Celeron at the time. Clawhammer, on the other hand, will be a powerful chip, but I can't help but wonder that the die size debacle is being overplayed, now that both Intel and AMD based cores plan to migrate to <100mm^2 sizes.
