msih - you tell em like it is. The end of the markets as we know them. Don't hold back mind you. Tell'em the whole ugly truth.

Breadlines for decades, civil unrest leading to war bankruptcies, no more consumers, no more retail stores, no health care, no autos, the noyl thing left will be everyone buying Gold.

Best,

L

Biotech prospects - Lots of product in phase three and eventually the government flunkies will learn how to evaluate the new technology.

Political pressure is being brought to bear on the FDA and they will have to learn.

Technological changes are coming about with increasing speed. I worked in the industry briefly in the early 80's. You would compare that time to the 60's in the computer industry. Look at how that technology changed in 40 years. With decreasing maturity cycles, biotech is about to become mainstream in an approximate 20 year cycle.

Looming on the horizon? ASCO.

As far as biotech is concerned, I'm like a kid in a candy store that just got a quarter (well maybe it would have to be a five dollar bill today). Too much to choose from and it's the first time I've had any real money to invest.

Current holds are: ARDM, BDAL, BSTI, BTRN, GNLB, IMGN, INCY, MDCO, NEOT, ORCH, RZYM, XOMA.

I traded SEPR and MLNM the last couple of days but let them go as they are too high profile and subject to manipulation. Will wait to get them when the sector is on more solid footing.

If we are at the bottom ( I HOPE :). I am hoping to trade and leverage into a pretty large basket of about 50 or so. Then I'll just go have some fun with the rest of my life.

There was lots of put trading in MSFT (may expiration) on Friday. Might be enough to signal a turning point in the market. When the strongest Nasdaq stock takes a beating, it could be the selling is over at least for the short term. (I say that without much confidence <g>)

However, the trend on the Nasdaq still looks down...to about 1100 to 1200; just watching for a short term bounce here.
