Jews have taken the position that Israel operates on a higher moral principle or moral clarity, it would seem reasonable that Israel take the first steps in promoting negotiations during this most recent cycle of violence. Yeah, I commented on this type of position a while back. It is really very insulting to the Arabs. What it is really saying is that you Jews are civilized and you Arabs are barbarians, so you Jews will have to make the compromises.

If the Israelis are better than the Palestinians, does that not explain the double standard?
