The link worked fine for me this time. Something apparently was wrong with the server the first time I tried the link. Now that I see what the link took me to, I didn't need to see it. :)

I don't think we can conclude much definitively from the IBM announcement because it doesn't provide much detail, at least not in the piece Paul provided for us. I've been playing tourist guide for a relative and haven't ventured out to the IBM site to find anything more definitive.

We know IBM and Siebel have teamed up with ERM. Since the piece Paul provided didn't mention anything about Siebel, I have to believe IBM's new push will be in the form of competition with Siebel. Yet because IBM is an integrator and has 500 joint customers with Siebel and has a few thousand Siebel-authorized consultants, Siebel will surely be getting some ERM business through IBM in the spirit of co-opetition.

That's my take. Yours? Anyone?
