This is capitalism, bub. Prices are determined by good old supply and demand, even stock prices. Right now, demand is down, although we have mainly see- sawed for several months. People are wary. The economy seems to have turned around, but there are many uncertainties, and people are not pumped up. The main point is that most of the value lost was a result of speculation, and bore no relationship to the underlying realities, especially in dotcoms. An harsh adjustment was inevitable........
