I think those numbers are in the general ballpark, but maybe over a period of a year instead of a quarter. On the conference call they talked about a churn rate of about 2%. They also mentioned that almost invariably, the customers that leave Internap do so for reasons unrelated to the service - most commonly that the client has run out of money and is cutting back on quality of internet connection in order to preserve cash.

They also made a comment, which I don't remember too clearly, about a lot of the companies that have left Internap don't exist anymore.

I think most of the "customers" that INAP lost were small "dot.com" companies that didn't survive the BB.<g>

I believe INAP is going to be among the "survivors".<g>

Will see what the "Chairman" says at the coming presentation on Thursday in San Francisco.
