Well, back from my break. So, if I understand this correctly, after the short term benefits of the "well run" integration plan, in which product area is HPQ going to beat it's main competitors?

PCs - How are they going to beat DELL?
Unix Servers - Does anyone really believe they will regain share from SUNW and IBM?
High End Storage - HPQ is going to do better than EMC/IBM/Hitachi?
Wintel Servers, basic storage - These are heading toward commodity-like businesses, which will likely experience price erosion (that's why neither CPQ or HWP could make any profits here) and Dell's superior operating model will win this segment like they have PC's
Services - HPQ is going to be better than IBM?

These are long term (not short term cost reduction) questions? HPQ will still lead in printing and imagin (~27% of revenues). How will the merged entity become a leader in any other of these major product areas?

Large technology mergers fail, people. Enjoy the cost savings will the expense cuts flow through the income statement, but don't look for revenue growth or market share gains, or you're gonna be disappointed.
