Unearthing of war dead offends Islamic sensibilities Funny, when the Palestinians exhumed a bunch of corpses last week in an effort to manufacture a mass grave for UN inspection, I didn't hear one word of complaint from the Islamic world. I think we can chalk this one up next to the 'It would offend the Islamic world deeply if you bombed during Ramadan' complaint. Translation: It is deeply offensive when you do it. When we do it to each other, well, that's another matter entirely.
