Westi, I did not expect anything else from Cal Thomas having seen him on weekend talk shows. But I am curious to know that don't you think Sharon has failed the Israelis very badly with the suicide bombing of yesterday? It seems to me that he has been barking up the wrong tree (Yasser Arafat). I think Arafat is not the problem as Sharon thinks. It is the Hamas and other terrorist organizations. Sharon is a worthless guy and should be removed. No problem with Netanyahu. Israel needs to perform a surgical operation in going after Hamas. Similar to what they did at Entebee (Idi Amin), Iraq etc. Go in their and smoke them out of their foxholes and ensure that civilian casualties are near zero. Yes those terrorists will use human shields. But like any civilized country, they need to consider if it is worthwhile to let 2 terrorists flee from behind a human shield of 1 person and save the life of that innocent civilian. Then maybe Israel will succeed in winning over the civilian Palestenians. Maybe Ariel Sharon should include Adam Shapiro in his cabinet.
