Hi mark.....good to hear that that "golden oldie" was helpful. So you got your networking project successfully done? I've been "planning" my own attempt for a couple of months now. I only have to hook up two desktops but to wire them requires more of a mess than I'm willing to accept. They aren't that close together and running the cable... So I'm waiting for the wireless hardware to come down to the $50 price level before I bite. Here's a recent article (review) about wireless networking gear. washingtonpost.com
