This is what you said: I can tell you that the private sector is by and large a wasteland of mismanagement, inefficiency, and outright stupidity. The vast majority of them stumble along cutting a million corners to make up for useless ideas or uncompetitive initiatives. It is not necessary that they ultimately fall by the wayside. Many of them never do. But they deliver an ugly or fraudulent product and they move along to the next street. Many times the employees are drunk before the noon hour... That is not true, in my experience, or that of my wife. I cannot account for your experiences, of course, but I would not accept a generalization based on them.....
