clappy-pappy i just watched a program about film making in new york city. it was great. it brought back memories. when my sister and her girl friend were about 20 they would talk my parents into letting them drive to new york from toronto. i was about 15 and of course would tag along. i was such a lucky kid. we'd stay with my grandma in queen's (middle village rings a bell). grandma would welcome us cook for us, listen to our adventures, cook for us and we'd traipse around visiting all the relatives, go to manhatten, and them come back to grandam's to eat. seems to me we'd never lift a finger - just took it all for granted. that's why i never criticize my kids today. i remember when. she was such a great lady. immigrated to new york when she was in her fifties. died at 88, a long time ago. i love new york. just wanted to tell you that. cathy canuck
