I like Art. Years ago I didn't care much for his presentation, but he got off the serious boat and it helped immensely. Now I find him very entertaining and often agree with his market assessment from my data flow perch. I never get the slightest sense of agenda pushing from him. He's remarkably free of that. Most of them on the floor who get the CNBC camera are that way too. They express themselves according to their own knowledge, perception, and orientation. That expression shows just how much in the dark those nearest to the market are. You don't realize how true this is until you've worked there like I have. You have to put a certain distance between you and it before you can get a good view of what it's doing. That's why floor personnel rarely make it in money management. You don't get any agenda from being near the mechanism.
