Hiya Nok!

Played my first round of golf today in over 3 years...a lovely day here too for the game. But unfortunately the only club in my bag that was working for me today was the telescoping scooper I used to fetch my ball out of the water...twice!

Put on some INTC, NVLS and CSCO puts before going out and was pleasantly surprised to see at the end of the day that my account had fared better than the scorecard.

All the best, TC.

One of my favorite illustrations with curious question-askers is to compare day trading with golf. When they find out I've done well over the years day trading full time, and ask why they shouldn't just get a deluxe computer and software program and "go for it", I tell them day trading is like golf. You can buy expensive clubs, have a cadillac of a golf cart and a high toned caddy, but if you do not practice, practice, practice, and work hard and study the game, you will be a lousy golfer. Day trading is like that. Usually they get the comparison. A fellow at a seminar yesterday wanted to know about how much fun day trading was, and said he was thinking about chucking the insurance business and diving into day trading. I think the illustration worked, once again. ----
Attended a day-long advanced seminar by TC2000 on Friday. Got some good new scanning and PCF ideas. Anxious to put them to work. But there will be a period of study and "practice" before I implement them.
....And no, I don't play golf. :)
