TOPICS ----- Beside Analysts, we've got to talk about Yahoo Message Boards. I'm not really ready to get into it right now, except to say this. Yahoo and Raging Bull boards are next to worthless for gauging sentiment. The main reason is that on these boards anyone can create an unlimited number of free aliases. If you were a paid hype or basher, you could literally create 5, 10, 20, or 30 aliases and act like an army. It's ludicrous. We are not free of that on S.I., but at least because this is a "pay" site it's more limited. We also are mostly spared the shouting: "THIS STOCK IS GOING TO ZERO" or "GOING TO THE MOON, BIG NEWS COMING" or "INSIDER SELLING --WATCH OUT, BANKRUPTCY" or countless other tactics used to manipulate others by appealing to their fear or greed.
