Which was my point from the start....doesn't pay to drop a solid brand name.

Of course, to know whether they are scrambling to find alternatives...they'd have to make those same phone calls they didn't make before. Journalists certainly are the laziest sort.

Still, they may be looking into it. What they will likely find is that the cost structure is prohibitive and there will be few who actually engage in stocking low cost alternatives.
