What is it you are trying so hard not to say? Since you asked. What I have tried to hold my tongue on is this: What has happened to you, Jewel of the West? I am having a really hard time believing you are same person whose posts I respected and admired many months ago. That person was reflective, deep thinking, and philosophical over a wide range of issues, particularly in the area of religion, perhaps even venturing into mysticism. That person was a font of challenging ideas and perspectives, not one immersed in the cult of the personality. Above all, that person impressed me as a very independent thinker that was no man but his own. I enjoyed exchanging posts with that person. This new person seems all too willing to join in with kangaroo courts, witch hunts, and loyalty oaths ... all too eager to curry the favor of the gang, all too ready to accept other's characterizations as with "lark" and "stalking," all too needy to be accepted by "the group." Whoever you are, or have become, or wannabe ... you are welcome to your suspicious mind, your veiled accusations, your conspiracies ... and you will get no further answers from me.
