Without More Fairness, Will the Markets Implode? Many of you are missing the point. Here's something that perhaps the crooks and the average investor can both understand. Without a whole lot more fairness the Markets could implode or at least lose 20-80% of current investors. If mutual fund performance continues to perform as miserably as it has for another year, will 80% of the participants of those funds pull out and just accept 3-6% returns on CD's or extremely low risk vehicles?" If you haven't read last week's "Business Week" issue entitled "The Betrayed Investor", which makes a huge point of that very thing, you better do so.
