You missed at least one. Somebody who doesn't like me and who knew of the relationship turned it in with the hope that suspicion would fall on me, as indeed it did. It could have been more an attack on me than on Poet. If that's the case, certain people here would have turned out to have played perfectly into this person's plans. Heck, it could even have been Poet herself, or E. Perhaps not likely, but also perhaps no less unlikely than some of your scenarios.
