Maybe credits cards are maxed out and unemployment growing. Beside, if we take all these years together the amount is rather non-repayable. To make it payable US must export more high-tech at astronomical prices or force their labour force to be cheaper and better than in China. What the whole world economy is facing I can describe only as CATCH 22, with the fiat currency short lived global experiment leading us to the universal repeat lesson of history.
