Bob, they are there now, because WE complained loudly enough.

When does the SEC do the most good? When we demand it.

When does the media cover corruption? When we get tired of being used and they are smart enough to recognize that we'll tune in or buy their magazines and newspapers.

When do (most) politicians make the biggest effort to clean up corruption? When they are certain that most of us are for it and it will win them votes and admiration.
