Can't be bk with their cash position... but its acting like enron

S&P just announced they are replacing WCOM in the S&P 500. That should signal a renewed sell off of WCOM by index funds tomorrow. Not good news........sold my WCOM shares in A H.

removed from S and P. Might help soon because you can be sure the managers were selling it ahead of the announcement...both because they may have known and to continually having to adjust for the drop. There was some study at the end of the year about how all the stocks removed from the SP kicked butt compared to the editions, at least the last two years.

WCOM management has failed its shareholders. This whole mess could have been avoided if management was more on top of things and dealt with the decline of WCOM's fortunes in a more energized way by selling assests and cutting costs to get through these lean years. I'm afraid that the stock market is indicating that WCOM will soon file for bankruptcy. The stock is heading for the $1 range and that's bad. BK might be coming to WCOM sooner than we all thought.
