Perhaps God has given you so much because of special favouritism? Have you thought of that?

Not favoritism. Perhaps Mercy. Whatever it is, it is unwarranted.

You view all the pain in the world and suffering as a part of life. You figure there can not be a God, at least not a good one, with all the pain that we must go through daily. I've felt the pain. I've seen it. It is ugly. But, it is not from God.

God must be supreme in order to be God. He must be perfect in all His attributes in order to be God and worthy of worship. This perfect God made us in His image. We are born with a conscious that tells us right and wrong. We rebel against our conscious. We cannot say we are innocent for we know what it is we do. The more we rebel against our conscious the more desensitized we become until we eventually turn into sociopaths with no conscious at all.

This is not God's will for us. His will would be for us to find our joy in Him and His presence and guidance in our lives. However, due to our free will we make decisions according to our own desires and wants. Our desire to rule our own lives circumvents His will with ours and leads us down a road of misery.

God laid the foundations of this world, but it is man who has created evil. The Creator created a creature that has the ability to create. And that is what we have done. You have misplaced the blame. It is man who is responsible for all the pain and suffering in the world, but God uses it for good. The cross is the ultimate example of good overcoming evil. On the cross the only perfect man to walk this earth was crucified, but the result was salvation for all who believe.
