Those rumors makes me wonder why GMST is releasing their quarterly earnings so late. The 15th is the deadline for filing their Form 10-Q to the SEC. Could the delay in filing be because of pending news, or are they just pushing the limits?

"and we also note that while a
settlement would remove an overhang from the stock, we are also hearing that a settlement could remove some significant upside
if GMST were to win the case."

Doesn't it all matter on the terms of settlement, if there is one. I suppose there would be the liklihood of any award of triple damages being down the drain, but if large new long-term licensing fees are produced I think most investors will accept that future income stream with satisfaction.

Pure speculation, of course. Probably nothing is going to happen.
