Re: Tech Stocks..Did not mention "All". Said "Most".

I realized later that I left the mania factor out. This principle is applicable in certain types of markets. Just like all other principles. None can applied at all times. (even floats need to be monitored carefully..they can change at the whisper of a doubt)

If the bagholder term does not apply today then why are insiders selling in droves? Even today? And ESPECIALLY during rallies?

"Valuation" is up to debate. See the post on AMAT FWIW.

Tech stocks do not represent fractional portions of companies imo.

Sure you can still make money off them. As long as they are still the game in town.

Unless they have gone from like 90 to 2.

And then you may also see a sudden decrease in volume (i.e. decline in interest 'cause the game has moved elsewhere and the insiders have finished selling and 'cause all the previously inexhaustible supply of 'news' and 'trials' and 'deployments' and why even 'acquisition target rumors' (usually by CSCO or sometimes INTC) have been depleted or rather are no longer needed).

Then if you believe (still) in the company or the product, you may have some value.

That is if they have any cash and future left.

You mean to tell me that MOST tech stocks today are high dividend paying and that the actual real money value of these companies is at a level where your purchase will grow if noone else takes the paper off your hands? Got examples?
