Read or reread the NY Times op-ed piece that I posted, Will. One of salient points of the article is that the U.S. corporate tax rate is in the middle of the range. It's not too high. That is a right-wing myth. It takes money to fight the terrorists. All big business must do its share.

In fact, the easy thing to do is to yell "taxes are too high" when leaving the U.S. for Bermuda.

The hard thing to do is to look in the mirror and admit that the reason for this drastic action is BAD MANAGEMENT.

So, in effect, if Stanley is successful in moving from Connecticut to Bermuda, the American public will be forced to subsidize Stanley's BAD MANAGEMENT.

I've got a better idea. How about the guys at the top cutting their multi-million-dollar salaries first?

Gee, that's a novel concept: Making managers accountable.
