here's what I mean Zeev -- I am very middle class -- I get offers every week for 0% interest cards. Pick one of the bubbly retailers -- go there and buy something over $500 -- no interest for 6 months to a year should be no problem ...

Wait, you say ... they put some of that interest cost in the purchase price ... well, OK, but someone without immediate cash can still get it, right?

Interest costs well below inflation -- wo even considering that the inflation numbers are lies. Same is true of autos ... only place you don't get a break is housing, but those prices have risen like crazy, too.

NEGATIVE REAL RATES ...

You mean this robbing is not what the market is all about?
<we are robbing our retirees to feed a consumption frenzy.>

Also in your defense. Very ominous, nearly identical descending triangle to the one in september.... Look at the second chart. Today is a mirror image of the local top on 8/27/01. Does history repeat itself? Stops are in... the jury is still out...<G>

<<Fair net cost of money should be in the 2% to 3.5% not zero, we are robbing our retirees to feed a consumption frenzy.>>

Succinctly and accurately put. How come politicians never talk about this stuff?
