That is a terrific movie scenario, E. (I must say it makes my recent screenwriting effort seem juvenile). As to the plot, there may be a few small holes that need plugging. For example, in a docu-drama, one might expect the father or the sergeant to ask just a few more questions. Um, for example: "These things he alluded to that you told him privately -- what exactly were these things? "Why were you sending him private messages?" "Did you tell him things about your private life that would be embarrassing to you? Why?" "After it all started before September 11th, have you refrained from sending any messages to him or answering any he sent you?" I think in the interest of reality, the desk sergeant especially would be obliged to be a bit more probing as to how or why this man might have come under the impression of a "relationship" between them, before he starts swinging his nightstick. Don't you think so?
